Alicia Telford, Horn, a native Californian, is an alumna and former faculty member of the San Francisco State University, where she studied horn with David Krehbiel, former principal horn of the San Francisco Symphony · She is a free-lance musician in the Bay Area, a tenured member of the Oakland East Bay Symphony, a faculty member of Los Medanos College, and a regular extra with the San Francisco Opera, Symphony and Ballet Orchestras.

Her greatest enjoyment comes from chamber music, which she performs with the Golden Gate Brass and the Fog City Winds · Alicia coaches at the Humboldt Brass Workshop in Arcata, California.

Among her credits as a musician is a full fellowship to the prestigious Tanglewood Music Festival.

When not playing the horn, Ms. Telford enjoys travel, working in her garden, and running in the Berkeley hills with her husband and their two dogs.
